The Kamer Family has had the mission of providing Gospel music to the churches with in a 200 mile radius of Garrison, KY.  Serving the churches of this area with the Word of God and Gospel music for 10 years now as a family.

 

 

Randy Lee Kamer

Randy is the father of the group.  Saved at the age of 9 years old he has been in church working ever since.  He has been playing the piano since he was 9 years and worked in different gospel groups since he was 14 traveling around to various churches.   He is on the general board of the Christian Baptist Association as the treasurer.

 

 

Lynn Berniece Kamer

The daughter of Christian Baptist Pastor Bill and Libby Rogers has one of the most beautiful voices today.  She was saved at the age of 12 years old in a revival and has been married to Randy Kamer for 26 years.  She is the voice of the Kamer Family and has a beautiful testimony in her life.  Lynn, also called "Niecie" by Randy, is a x-ray technician.  

 

 

Jeremy Lee Kamer

Jeremy is 23 years old and was saved when he was 8 years old in the back of a little blue mini-van.  He answered the call to preach when he was 16 years old at the Christian Baptist Camp at one of the youth services after the main service.  Currently Jeremy is the vice-president of the Christian Baptist Youth (CBY), a trustee for the Christian Baptist Association and the assistant pastor of Columbus First Christian Baptist.

 

 

 

 

What we Believe

 

1.  The Holy Trinity:  Father, Son, Holy Ghost all in unity as the God head.

 

2.  We believe in the plenary verbal (God-breathed) word of God.  Therefore we believe through the inerrancy of the scriptures in the virgin birth of Christ.

 

3.  That because of the disobedience of Adam judgment was pronounced upon all men.

 

4.  By the obedience of Christ justification was pronounced to all men that would take it.  That through repentance any person through faith in Jesus Christ can be saved.

 

5.  We believe that all those who have been saved are the true Church of God.  That the need of water baptism by emersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  That the observance of the Lord's Supper and foot washing as the ordinances of the church.

 

6.   We believe in supporting the ministry.

 

7.  That sinners are saved through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.  That he is the advocate for us and an intercessor.  Not as to giving a free right to sin after salvation but an assurance that he will still love and care for us.

 

8.  We believe in sanctification as a definite second work of grace subsequent to salvation.  Salvation being an initial sanctification or setting apart from sin in the believers life.  Entire sanctification being the second work in which the believer through the work of the Holy Spirit sets their self, body, soul and spirit apart for the ministry of God.  We do not believe in speaking in an unknown tongue as a witness of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

 

9.  We believe in divine Healing by God.

 

10.  We believe in the rapture of the saints, the judgment of the just and unjust resulting either in eternal life in Heaven or eternal death in Hell.
